The Wargamer's Ring links wargaming webpages together into a community. Presently the
ring has over 500 member sites and is among the five most popular gaming rings on WebRing. The member
pages include sites on boardgames, computer games, miniatures games, and even military history. The webring makes
it easier for wargaming enthusiasts to find pages on the web that interest them. Belonging to the ring is also a great way for wargame web pages to increase the number of visitors that they receive.
If you have a web page that would fit into The Wargamer's Ring, follow these instructions
to submit your site to the Ring:
Follow these simple steps to join The Wargamer's Ring:
- Click here to go to The Wargamer's Ring Hub
page!
- Click the Join this Ring button in the right corner of the Ring Hub page. Fill in the
form that appears with the URL, title, and description of your site. Your will be sent to the RingMaster, who will
approve or deny your application. You will be notified of the RingMaster's decision via email.
- In the meantime, install the navigation bar on your page. (Make sure to use the web address
you entered on the application form.) Sign
into WebRing.
- To get a list of the WebRings that you are participating in, go here: http://e.webring.com/mbr?p=mr
- Click on the site title to manage your listing. On the following page, click on the "Get
Navigation Code" link fo ryour custom Nav Bar code. The RingMaster will not approve
your application unless you have the Nav Bar installed on your page.
- Alternately, you can installed the old HTML code that was highly popular before Yahoo
took over the Web Rings. To install that code, please browse here!
Please install this code on your page as soon as possible. Your website will not be added
to the ring until after I verify that your site belongs on it and that it has the Wargamer's Ring HTML code and
link properly in place on your page. When your page is added to the ring, you will receive an email message confirming
